BAKED FRANKFUTERS AND SPAGHETTI

4 slices bacon, diced raw                                              1 tsp. salt                                                                       1 onion, chopped                                                         1/2 tsp. meat sauce
4 tsp. flour                                                                   1 lb. frankfurters, cut  in thick slices
4 c. tomatoes chopped                                                 2 c. water                                                                      1/2 pkg. spaghetti                                                         bit of bay leaf, bit of allspice         


METHOD: saute bacon until crisp and brown, add onion and stir until it yellows, then sprinkle flour over it. stir until smooth, add 1 c. of the tomatoes and stir until sauce boil. (may use 1 no. 2 1/2  can tomatoes if preferred). add remaining tomato, pour mixture into large grease casserole, add spaghetti, green pepper, seasonings, frankfurter slice and water. cover and bake about 30-40 minutes in moderate oven, 375 f.
