PENOTCHE FROSTING

2c. brown sugar
2/3c. milk 
1tbsp.butter
1tsp.vanilla
METHOD..boil sugar and milk to soft ball stage .. remove from heat add butter and vanilla cool beat  until of spreading consistency.. donot beat until it is cooled into drained
