CHINESE SPARERIBS

4lbs spareribs                                                       4tbsp.vinegar
2 1/2t.salt                                                             1 green pepper chopped
1 1/3 c. tomato juice                                             3Tbsp.flour
1 no. 2 1/2 can pineapple                                       3-4 Tbsp.cold water
METHOD... Wip spareribs and cut  in 2 rib sections brown in heavy kettle in their own fat if possbile otherwise addd 2 tbsp. shortening
sprinkle with salt and pepper . add tomato juice pineapple juice ,pine apple cut into pieces and vinegar . cover kettle and cook slowly 1 1/2 hours at end of 1 hour  add green pepper 10 mins, before meat is done add pimiento . when done thicken the gravy with flour mixed with water
